Eine Serie von Landschaftsbildern, bei denen es nie um eine konkrete Landschaft geht. Thema ist das System Natur und wie sich Flächen in der Natur definieren, Fläche als Summe der sie bildenden Elemente. Die zentrale Frage ist: Nach welchen chaotischen Systemen sind diese Elemente geordnet
und welche Unterordnungen, die unseren orthogonalen Denkstrukturen entsprechen, bilden sich?

Taking landscape apart, reducing it to its individual components.
A series of landscape paintings completely unrelated to any specific site. The subject of this work is nature´s system and the way surfaces are defined within nature. Surface is viewed as the sum-total of the elements it is composed of. The central question of this work is: according to which chaotic systems are these elements arranged with regard to each other and what types of subordinating principles corresponding to our orthogonal thought structures apply?
